Hosted at Dirty Dick’s Crab House in Nags Head, Crab Odyssey is a multi-course tasting experience featured during Taste of the Beach 2026. This dinner moves guests through multiple crab preparations, highlighting different textures and flavor profiles from start to finish.

Six-Course Crab Tasting

• First Course:
  Signature Crabby Mary – house-made Bloody Mary blend with crab and shrimp, garnished with a steamed shrimp and snow crab leg, served in a keepsake pint glass

• Second Course:
  She-Crab Soup – cream-based soup made with crab stock and roe, finished with sherry

• Third Course:
  Jumbo Lump Crab Salad – blue crab folded in a bright vinaigrette over mixed greens

• Fourth Course:
  Choice of draft beer or wine

• Fifth Course:
  Steamed Alaskan Snow Crab with drawn butter

• Sixth Course:
  Maryland-style crab cake
