Hosted at Shipwrecks Taphouse & Grill in Kitty Hawk, Smoke and Sea is a three-course pairing dinner featured during Taste of the Beach 2026. The experience brings together house-smoked meats and fresh seafood, with wine, beer, and cocktail pairings built into each course.
Designed around bold flavors and balanced beverage selections, the dinner offers both seafood and smoked meat options within a guided format.
Three-Course Pairing Menu

First Course:
House-Smoked Seafood Board (family-style) featuring smoked salmon, tuna, and shrimp with dill cream cheese, capers, red onion, and egg
Paired with: Sauvignon Blanc or Sky Blue Kölsch -
Second Course (Choose One):
• Seared Fresh Rockfish with seasonal vegetables, lobster mac & cheese, and tomato tarragon cream sauce
Paired with: Pinot Grigio or Kitty Hawk Blonde
• House-Smoked Prime Rib with duck fat roasted marble potatoes, honey orange butter carrots, au jus, and horseradish
Paired with: Cabernet Sauvignon or Red Oak Amber Ale -
