Hosted at TRIO in Kitty Hawk, Southern Cookin’ Loves WINE! is a five-course tasting featured during Taste of the Beach 2026. The evening pairs Southern comfort dishes with carefully selected wines from around the world in a guided, course-by-course format.

Five-Course Tasting Experience

Each course features a Southern-inspired plate, such as chicken and waffles or fried green tomatoes with pimento — paired with a complementary wine selected to match and enhance the flavors of the dish.

Five wines are poured throughout the evening, highlighting contrast, balance, and pairing technique.
