35th Annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade 

Kelly’s 35th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade returns to Nags Head on Sunday, March 15, 2026, stepping off at 1:00 p.m. This year’s parade holds special significance as it officially kicks off Dare County’s A250 celebration, honoring America’s 250th anniversary in 2026.

The A250 initiative marks 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence and will be woven into this year’s parade theme. Participants are encouraged to incorporate patriotic and historical elements into their floats, with special recognition given for standout entries. 

The parade takes place rain or shine along the traditional one-mile Beach Road route from Milepost 11.5 to Driftwood Street and typically features more than 100 entrants and over 10,000 spectators.
