“Shipwrecks is an amazing place to eat! We went twice while staying on the island. By far the best homemade hush puppies we’ve ever had. Their steamed shrimp and fish tacos were so good. Definitely, a place to put on your list to eat at. Thanks, Shipwrecks to the staff that showed up to work and had a great attitude even though they were short-staffed. Reasonably priced & we didn’t have to wait for seating or long for our meal. 10 outta 10″

“Amazing first-time experience! Searched out a dog-friendly establishment since we were going to the OBX with our puppy & Shipwrecks was recommended. They did not disappoint! The service was great, staff friendly as well as the other patrons. I had the lunch special, soup & salad & those cornbread croutons were the bonus item! Hubby had Tuna tacos which he raved about. Little Lucy (puppy) practiced her manners with her chicken & raw carrots dish served on a Shipwrecks Frisbee. Already looking forward to another visit to this gem.”
